Site Name: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower Posted Date: Jan 15 2024 Responsibilities include: Experience: 8-12 Years Handle all legal activities for the Company and develop systems and processes for more effective risk management and compliance, review policies and critical documentation from a legal viewpoint with an objective of managing the legal risk and exposure of the Company within statutory norms and Company guidelines as well as provide strategic legal advice to concerned stakeholders in the Company. Advise various committees on legal implications and strategy under various applicable laws, as needed. Preparation, negotiation and review of all legal agreements and documents governing commercial relationships with third parties with whom the Company has dealings. Preparation, review and adoption of internal legal advisories for senior stakeholders in compliance with local laws and regulations. To deal with and manage correspondence with Regulatory and other Governmental Authorities in connection with the Company\'s business and to ensure compliance within time, in consultation with relevant business and compliance teams. Management of litigation, if any, involving the Company (including but not limited to recoveries, general commercial, civil, intellectual property litigation, prosecution), preparing case for opinion, briefing counsels and actively attending the hearing before the courts. Maintaining and updating MIS of legal cases through regular follow ups with external Advocates. Advise business on interaction with external stakeholders such as vendors, business partners, in line with local laws & company\'s SOPs. Advise business on use of digital & social media & telecommunication for such interaction. Support compliance team by guiding them as and when any issue arises with regards to interpretation of internal policies and/or applicable legal provisions. Support global projects for implementation of new processes and working in collaboration with global team members in a unified manner to meet project deadlines. Attending numerous weekly/fortnightly update virtual calls, virtual meetings, debates and deliberations with both external and internal stakeholders. Maintain awareness of issues that could result in reputational and / or financial damage and ensure that the management is aware of such issues by following proper escalation channels. Ensure that business processes are fully aligned with corporate compliance policies. Legal support to any complex local or global strategic projects. Other duties as assigned If you have these skills, we would like to speak to you. Qualified lawyer with minimum 10+years\' experience. Experience as an \'In - House Legal Counsel\' would be highly preferred. Someone who can work independently with senior business stakeholders. Ability to understand and advise on complex legal issues as well as manage day to day legal requirements of the Company.
