About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer to lead our engineering team in developing and deploying cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Java development experience and a proven track record of team leadership and process implementation. This role requires a strong technical foundation and excellent management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, efficient software solutions using Java, and Spring Boot. Build and deploy cloud-based applications leveraging such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Work with PostgreSQL and other database management systems to ensure optimized and reliable data storage. Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintain best practices. Collaborate with teams to integrate DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes into workflows. Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering team members. Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain engineering processes, tools, and standards to ensure high-quality products. Monitor team performance and ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to deliver high-impact solutions. Champion agile methodologies and software development life cycles to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Drive the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications:

Experience in Java development, with expertise in Spring Boot. Experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle. Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Proven team management and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineers. Track record of developing and implementing engineering processes and standards. Familiarity with other cloud platforms or technologies.
