The Property Estimating Solutions division's tools provide claims estimating, contents replacement, claims management, and property maintenance solutions for desktop, mobile, and online platforms. Our services include repair cost research and reports, aerial imagery, and real-time business intelligence. We have been providing cloud services for customers since 1995. We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead with 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, to join our dynamic development team.

Required Experience:

o 6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or mentoring role.


o Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with a deep understanding of enterprise application development.


o Strong experience with front-end development using Vue.js, including state management (Vuex/Pinia) and component-based architecture.


o Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and building scalable, distributed systems.


o Proficiency with communication protocols such as HTTP and RESTful APIs, with a solid understanding of API design best practices.


o Practical exposure to AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) or similar cloud platforms.


o In-depth knowledge of software design principles and patterns, with the ability to guide the team on best practices.


o Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and innovative code that meets business and technical requirements.


o Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.


o Database expertise with MongoDB, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.


o Strong understanding of automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and software quality assurance practices.


o Experience leading code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring developers.


o Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality software.


o Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

o 6+ years of experience working on back-end technologies.


o Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science / software engineering from a four-year college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA
