Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Technology Management:

Manage and do new installation of Inside Plant (ISP) network components, including: Transport systems Multiplexers (Mux) Routers and Switches Oversee and optimise DWDM and SDH systems for high-availability connectivity. Support network architecture based on Ring Topology ensuring redundancy and fault tolerance. Implement and maintain IP-based networking technologies across the infrastructure.

1. Responsible for timely execution of various capacity projects - Optics, Metro core, OCH etc.
2. Should have strong knowledge of various network layers & transport technologies
3. Should have strong project management & partner governance skills
4. Should work to work with various stakeholders - Internal & external and explore solutions for stuck projects
5. Responsible for handling the Digitization and process strengthening.
6. Performance monitoring & review with respective stake holders
7. Handling the Partner Management and driving cross-functional teams for time bound delivery
8. Strong governance with all stakeholders involved in project delivery
9. Inventory planning inline with project readiness.
10. Reconciliation of inventory & timely capitalization.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain updated network diagrams, asset records, and operation manuals. Prepare and present regular status reports, outage analysis, and performance reviews.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in ISP/Inside Plant operations or Telecom infrastructure management. Proven experience with transport networks, IP technologies, SDH, and DWDM systems. In-depth knowledge of Ring Topology and its applications in enterprise or service provider networks. Experience working with network monitoring tools and systems.
