Role description

Role Proficiency:



Create and Organise testing process based on project requirement and manage test activities within team


Outcomes:



Test Estimates and Schedules-. Ensure Test Coverage

Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports to evidence for testing

Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

Ensure Quality of Deliverables

Ensure adherence of Engineering practices processes and standards

Preferred Skills: Expertise in cross-platform Web, Mobile test automation using Katalon Studio. Good with automation frameworks like Selenium or Postman. Expertise with test automation for cloud-based platforms and environments. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Ability to adapt and innovate within a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Familiarity with Appium Automation Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation frameworks using using Selenium and Katalon Studio. Architect and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient automated test scripts for various applications, including web, mobile, and API testing. Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to streamline the testing process and accelerate delivery cycles. Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams to define automated testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Establish best practices for automation testing and mentor junior and mid-level engineers in test automation strategies. Provide leadership in defining best practices and standards for test automation. Troubleshoot and resolve automation test issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Continuously improve test processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance test automation efficiency and effectiveness.. Review test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders. Drive the adoption of test automation across the organization and identify areas for improvement in existing processes. Stay up-to-date with new trends, tools, and techniques in test automation and incorporate them into the automation strategy.
