Role description

Key Responsibilities

Backend (Primary Focus)

Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, secure services using

Java (8+)

Spring Boot

, and

Spring Cloud

. Develop and optimize

RESTful APIs

and

microservices

for payment gateways, transaction processing, and account management. Ensure

high availability

,

fault tolerance

, and

real-time performance

for mission-critical financial systems. Implement strong

data security

encryption

access control

, and best practices for protecting sensitive financial data. Work with ORM and database technologies including

JPA/Hibernate

and relational databases (

MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle

). Handle

transaction management

, concurrency, and performance tuning for high-volume data workflows.

Frontend (Supporting Focus)

Develop responsive, user-friendly UIs using

Angular (v8+)

or

React.js

, along with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Build modular, maintainable front-end components aligned with backend APIs and business workflows. Ensure UI cross-browser compatibility and adherence to secure coding standards.

Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver compliant, high-quality product increments. Participate in

code reviews

design reviews

, and

risk assessments

related to financial data workflows. Mentor junior engineers, promoting engineering excellence and secure development practices. Contribute to

CI/CD pipelines

(GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar) to ensure smooth deployments and continuous delivery.

Performance & Reliability

Lead system performance tuning, load testing, and throughput optimization. Contribute to observability: logging, monitoring, tracing, and incident response readiness.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Expertise

Java 8+ Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security Microservices architecture, REST API design Hibernate/JPA Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and high-volume transactions

Frontend Skills
