Role description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will work on designing and developing scalable backend services using the Spring Framework and Java, ensuring robust API design and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, excellent communicator, and team player with hands-on experience in modern software development practices.

Must-Have Qualifications:

7+ years of professional experience, with 4+ years in Java and Spring Framework development

Strong experience with Java programming and the Spring Framework

Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture

Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines

Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, unit testing, and integration testing

Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
