Job Title: Product Owner - Retail eCommerce Modernization
Experience: 10-15+ years

Locations: Trivandrum (Preferred), Kochi, Chennai, or Bangalore
Must-Have Skills & Experience
10-15+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Lead BSA / Principal Business Analyst
Strong Retail & eCommerce domain expertise (mandatory), including:
Customer journeys
Order Management Systems (OMS)
Pricing and promotions
Inventory management
Fulfillment, returns, and loyalty programs
Proven experience in large-scale legacy modernization or digital transformation programs
Strong ownership of product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Retail eCommerce initiatives
Ability to translate business strategy into product objectives, epics, and features
Experience leading legacy-to-modern transformations:
Monolith to microservices
On-premise to cloud
Custom-built to COTS platforms
Expertise in performing AS-IS and TO-BE analysis across business processes and systems
Strong experience in requirements management, product discovery, and stakeholder alignment
Ability to partner effectively with business leaders, architects, UX, engineering, QA teams, and external vendors
Experience driving requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design validations
Strong experience in defining acceptance criteria, KPIs, and success metrics
Hands-on involvement in Agile delivery, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, release readiness, and UAT sign-offs
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders
Strong decision-making, risk assessment, and prioritization skills
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity-heavy transformation environments
Good-to-Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) in Retail environments
Exposure to microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments at scale
Prior experience working with global retail clients or multi-region programs
Strong storytelling ability to connect business pain points to technology solutions
Experience aligning modernization initiatives with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements
