Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services to automate the software delivery lifecycle.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision and manage Azure cloud resources consistently and efficiently (e.g., virtual machines, networking, storage, Kubernetes clusters).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security) to ensure seamless application integration and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost of Azure infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and operations within the Azure environment.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures within Azure environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage version control systems (Git in Azure Repos or GitHub) and the associated branching strategies for both application code and infrastructure code.
• Document architectures, processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related role, with specific hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including foundational services like App Services, Storage Accounts, SQL, IAM, and Security.
• IaC Proficiency: Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including managing state files (often in Azure Blob Storage) and using Terraform providers.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and task scripting.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (AKS).
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles and practices.
• Certifications (Advantageous): Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate are highly beneficial.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
