The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated

AI/ML Application Security Analyst

to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. You will play a pivotal role in securing innovative applications and AI/ML systems. This position requires a strong foundation in application security, SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), CASB, and Zero Trust frameworks, along with hands-on experience in AI/ML security including MLOps and LLMs.



You will work closely with application teams, DevOps, and data scientists to ensure secure design, development, and deployment of applications while protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized data egress.

Key Responsibilities

Security Assessment and Enforcement

+ Conduct comprehensive security assessments of applications and AI/ML systems.
+ Implement robust security policies to mitigate threats such as data breaches and DDoS attacks.

SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and Zero Trust

+ Manage SSPM via CASB tools to ensure continuous compliance.
+ Design and implement Zero Trust frameworks to safeguard access and data.

Application Protection and Incident Response

+ Deploy and manage security technologies: WAF, API security, DDoS protection, bot mitigation, and DLP.
+ Continuously monitor applications, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
+ Utilize AI-driven threat detection and response tools.

Data Security & Egress Control

+ Monitor and secure data flows to prevent unauthorized data egress.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure data handling.

AI/ML System Security

+ Integrate security controls into MLOps pipelines and secure deployment of LLMs.
+ Conduct vulnerability assessments on AI/ML models and mitigate risks.
+ Stay updated with NIST, OWASP, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 guidelines and integrate them into security practices.

Collaboration and Training

+ Work with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security into SDLC.
+ Conduct training and awareness sessions to elevate security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
###

Experience

7+ years of experience in application security, cybersecurity, or related roles. Hands-on experience with SSPM, ASPM, CSPM, and Zero Trust frameworks. Familiarity with securing AI/ML systems, GenAI, MLSecOps, and LLMs.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

+ Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
+ API Security
+ DDoS Protection
+ Bot Mitigation
+ Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
+ Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP)
Programming skills in Python, Java, or C++. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with AI/ML security monitoring tools is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred)

CISSP, CISM, CAITI, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent. Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.

Additional Knowledge

Familiarity with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA). Understanding of AI/ML governance and security best practices.
