Job Title:

Workday HRIS Consultant - Payroll




Job Responsibility



The

Workday Payroll Consultant

will operate within the HR functional area, acting as a liaison between business and IT to translate complex business requirements into effective Workday Payroll solutions. The role requires strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to assess the impact of Workday configurations and enhancements on current and future business environments.


Key Responsibilities:




Gather, analyze, and document HRIS business requirements to support Payroll processes. Design, develop, and maintain Workday Payroll solutions to address business process needs. Define HRIS project tasks, contribute to project plans, identify SMEs, and coordinate resources across the enterprise. Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design and validated through testing. Consult with business partners on Payroll system applications, integrations, and implementations. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Payroll, providing support and resolving user issues. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, data security, and audit requirements.

Qualification:




Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Workday Certification is an added advantage.

Experience:




Minimum

3-4 years of functional Workday experience

, with strong expertise in

Payroll module

. Experience in at least

one end-to-end Workday implementation project

.

Skills & Competencies:




Expertise in

Workday Payroll

and Payroll processing. Experience in at least one

end-to-end Workday implementation project

. Practical experience with

HR data migration

and/or system integrations. Strong consulting skills with proven ability to manage customer expectations. Analytical mindset with experience using HR analytics and reporting tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both management and client stakeholders. Knowledge of HRIS systems, Program Management tools, and MS Office.
