Role description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, API Testing, and Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases across web and API layers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright. Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, UI, and cross-browser testing. Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Debug automation failures and work with engineering teams to resolve defects. Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.). Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

Java (strong programming skills) Selenium WebDriver API Testing (REST/SOAP, REST Assured, Postman, etc.) Playwright (Java/TypeScript-based automation)

Good to Have

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Experience with version control systems (Git)
