Role description




Role Proficiency:



Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage



Outcomes:



Create Test Estimates and Schedules

Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

Ensure adherence of processes and standards

Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing

Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

Report progress of testing

Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

Additional Comments:

The software engineer / Senior software engineer position is responsible for the below: o Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Payroll Workday functionalities. o Execute testing processes and validate system configurations against functional and business requirements. o Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify and document testing requirements. o Conduct end-to-end testing, including unit testing, integration system, and regression testing when required. o Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolutions and retesting. o Work closely with stakeholders to ensure testing objectives align with project goals. o Participate in the design and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions. o Provide expertise and guidance on testing best practices and methodologies. o Maintain and update test documentation to reflect any system changes. o Assist in the coordination of test environments and data requirements. QUALIFICATION o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. o Proven experience with Workday, preferably in testing roles. o Strong understanding of HR modules and business processes within Workday. o Proficient in creating and executing detailed test plans and scripts. o Experience with test management tools [Insert Tools Used, e.g., JIRA, ALM]. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. o Provide regular updates on the work to required stakeholders. EXPERIENCE o Min 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Testing Consultant o Hands-on experience with Workday Integration, custom reports testing. o Strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations o Strong analytical mindset and usage of analytics and reporting tools o Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audience o Knowledge of HRIS, Program Management tools and MS Office SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES o Experience with automation testing tools. o Experience with Jira scrum Boards. o Hands-on experience in specific Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Financials). o Certifications on automation tools like TOSCA and application automation exposure for workday. o Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
