Additional Comments:
Responsibilities: o Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities. o Work with the QA team in developing a QA testing strategy for the project, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, functional/performance/load, and so on). o Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests o Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests. o Conduct technical reviews with other programmers, technologists and technicians and other engineering and scientific personnel. o Report any issues with the client stakeholders and UST leadership * Strong commitment, proactive, individual contributor Requirements: o BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding o Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to communicate with technical people as well as business and management. o Expertise in QA methodologies, Test Process and practices. o 5 plus years of Software Engineering testing experience with manual testing, automation testing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Automated Testing Tools (such as Selenium, Cucumber etc.) o 7 plus years of hands-on experience using Selenium and Cucumber o Expertise in testing object-oriented and service-oriented design, and multi-threaded services/applications. o Prior hands-on experience in testing cloud architectures that include multi-tenancy, horizontal scale, micro services and RESTful APIs. o Strong knowledge of testing SQL and NoSQL Databases, and understanding of database queries o Hands-on experience with TestNG o Strong hands-on experience in the API Testing using Rest Assured/HTTPClient/Karate tools o Hands on experience with Java/J2EE concepts, object-oriented design and development o Working experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java) o Knowledge in CI/CD using Jenkins o Defect Tracking: JIRA o Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE o Database Tools: Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Developer or other query tools o Other Tools: Jenkins, GIT, Putty, WinScp
