Role description

Role Proficiency:



Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage



Outcomes:



Create Test Estimates and Schedules

Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

Ensure adherence of processes and standards

Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing

Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

Report progress of testing

Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

Additional Comments:

TECHNICAL SKILLS o Strong experience in Manual testing and Testing fundamentals o Create test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements. o Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them. o Experience with building UI automation frameworks using tools like Selenium WebDriver. o Automation development experience using Java o Experience with Git source control and CICD tools will be plus o Experience in working with BDD framework using Cucumber will be plus OTHER SKILLS o 4-6 years of QA Test Engineering experience o BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required o Strong understanding of QA methodologies and experienced testing skills o Strong knowledge of process improvements and demonstrated experience with implementing them o Strong knowledge of software system architecture and the software development process o Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development and testing software o Strong research and troubleshooting skills (tools/root cause analysis) o Solid knowledge of Scrum development methodology o Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources o Must be a team player and work well within the current team of Development and Test Engineers o Advanced written and verbal communication skills o Fast Learner o Remain positive in difficult/stressful situations
