Sr. Tester Senior Software Tester / Sr. QA Engineer Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tester to lead quality assurance efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior testers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute test planning, design, and execution for complex software applications. Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for manual and automated testing. Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Review and improve QA processes and testing strategies. Mentor and guide junior QA team members. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Required Skills: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter). Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus. Experience with API testing and database validation. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles. ISTQB or equivalent certification is preferred. Preferred Attributes: Experience in testing web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects.
