Role Overview
As a
Lead Software Engineer - Cloud
, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications leveraging
.NET/.NET Core

SQL
, and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
services. You will play a key role in developing robust microservices, ensuring application performance, and mentoring team members to deliver quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using
.NET or .NET Core (C#)
following multi-tier architecture and design patterns.
Develop and integrate
RESTful APIs and microservices
ensuring seamless communication between systems.
Design and optimize
SQL databases
, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performing query tuning.
Collaborate with UI teams to integrate backend services with
Angular (2.x or higher)
front-end applications.
Cloud Engineering
Design and implement
GCP-based solutions
, including data orchestration and workflow automation.
Hands-on experience with GCP services like
Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub
, and
DAG creation
.
Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance, cost, and scalability.
Software Quality & Delivery
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and review practices.
Conduct
unit testing, debugging, and validation
of application modules.
Collaborate with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely defect resolution.
Perform
defect RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
and define corrective measures to enhance software quality.
Project & Team Management
Manage delivery of assigned modules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and coding standards.
Set
FAST goals
for self and team; provide feedback and mentoring.
Conduct
code reviews
, enforce compliance with configuration management and version control policies.
Interface with clients to clarify requirements, present design options, and conduct product demos.
Documentation & Process Adherence
Create and maintain design documents (HLD, LLD, SAD) and test cases.
Contribute to
knowledge management
, reusable components, and internal libraries.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, security, and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills
