Job Summary

We are looking for a

Senior Backend Developer

with deep expertise in

Java

,

Spring Boot

, and

AWS

, and strong experience in container orchestration using

Kubernetes

and

Helm

. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable backend services and deploying cloud-native applications in a microservices architecture. While this is primarily a backend role, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure. Containerize applications and manage orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development and production environments. Contribute to CI/CD automation, testing, and deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills

Backend Development:

7+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Cloud Infrastructure:

Practical experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3).

Containerization & Orchestration:

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.

Microservices Architecture:

Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.

CI/CD:

Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

DevOps & Automation:

Proficiency with Docker and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.

Monitoring & Logging:

Experience with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Good to Have Skills

Front-end Frameworks:

Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Security:

Understanding of security best practices in cloud and microservices environments.

Agile Practices:

Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.

Testing:

Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks for backend services.

Serverless Architectures:

Familiarity with AWS Lambda and serverless design patterns.
