Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product & Project Engineer with deep expertise in data migration and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, particularly Siemens Teamcenter. This role involves managing and executing engineering data migration initiatives and delivering robust product engineering solutions.
You will play a key part in integrating tools, defining engineering configurations, and supporting enterprise-level digital thread strategies. This is a hybrid role combining strong technical capabilities with project execution leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to PLM and product engineering initiatives using Siemens Teamcenter.
Plan and execute data migration projects for engineering systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, design engineers, and IT stakeholders.
Ensure seamless data transition between legacy systems and Teamcenter PLM.
Define and apply best practices in data modeling, engineering configuration, and PLM architecture.
Support tool integrations and customizations from a functional and technical standpoint.
Participate in technical reviews, validation efforts, and process documentation.
Keep up with the latest trends in PLM systems, engineering tools, and digital engineering platforms.
Primary Skill (Mandatory):
Siemens Teamcenter - Proven expertise in configuration, customization, data modeling, and data migration within the Teamcenter environment.
Secondary Skills (Preferred/Added Advantage):
Experience in any of the following tools is a strong plus:
SimaPro - Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool
ONESOURCE for Engineering
ANSYS Suite - Engineering simulation and analysis tools
Substantio - Compliance and sustainability management
Advanced Design System (ADS) - RF and microwave simulation and design
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
7-10 years of total experience with a minimum of 5 years in engineering product data and PLM systems.
Solid understanding of engineering processes, data structures, and PLM best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage projects in a hybrid work model across multiple geographies and functions.
