Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Full Stack Java Developer

to deliver hands-on contributions to the firm's

Legal Technology platforms

You will be part of a global team, translating critical business needs into robust, scalable code, while adopting agile methodologies, ensuring code quality, and maintaining high standards in design, architecture, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain core features of the firm's Legal Technology platforms. Own and enhance product vision and technical delivery. Collaborate within Agile squads to design and implement business solutions. Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and adhere to Agile best practices. Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Ensure test automation, CI/CD practices, and high code coverage. Influence technical design, architecture decisions, and drive best practices. Work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and global IT teams for smooth delivery. Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the role. Comply with internal Tech & Data policies and SDLC standards. The role demands strong hands-on Java/Full Stack development experience. The candidate will work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, among energetic and creative developers who are enthusiastic about learning and leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business challenges. In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever moving financial and regulatory landscape. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skill set of those around themselves. Daily responsibilities include close co-ordination and communication with a global team, transforming critical business requirements into code, adopting agile principles and ceremonies, enabling integrations, code reviews, focus on code quality and tooling, reporting on project status, and learning our in-house frameworks and Java best practices. Required Skills o Bachelors+ in Computer Science or a related field. Strong expertise in Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate) for backend development. Proficient in frontend technologies, including JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React) and responsive design practices (HTML, CSS). Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). o 5+ years of hands-on experience on Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, TypeScript and JUnit. Should be able to write optimized, efficient, and clean code. o Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experiencing of leveraging the same during development. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate should be able to design and then implement solutions. o Team player with strong attitude and work ethics. o Strong oral and written communication skills. Candidate is expected to work with global teams and hence should be clear in both verbal and written communication. o Write unit tests that exercise all major logic components of the code. o Hands on expertise in implementing HTTP/HTTPS and REST interfaces and services. o Git/Git Hub o Relational Database and SQL knowledge - DB2/PostgreSQL/Oracle/Azure SQL o Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting.
