: Labware LIMS/ELN Technical Consultant




Location:Bangalore





Position Summary:



We are seeking an experienced Labware LIMS/ELN Technical Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in the design, development, and support of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), preferably with Labware. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in system integrations, web services, database management, and compliance within regulated environments such as healthcare and life sciences.


Key Responsibilities:




Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between Labware LIMS/ELN and enterprise systems, including SAP, using REST and SOAP web services. Develop and support custom Labware LIMS subroutines and instrument interfaces to meet business and laboratory requirements. Perform root cause analysis and implement bug fixes and enhancements as part of backlog management and change request handling. Participate in Labware LIMS migration projects, including planning, execution, testing, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and support of LIMS/ELN solutions. Maintain and optimize Labware database configurations, ensuring high system performance and data integrity. Follow best practices for software development lifecycle including change control, version control, release management, and service management. Use tools such as JIRA, HPSM, GEAR, and Git for project tracking and code versioning. Ensure all system changes comply with GMP regulations and documentation standards in electronic systems. Support users in a environment, with a focus on life sciences and healthcare industries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:




Minimum 6 years of experience with Labware LIMS and/or ELN. Strong hands-on experience with web services (REST & SOAP) and interface development (especially SAP integration). Solid understanding of Labware databases, subroutines, and instrument interface development. Experience with Labware system migrations and upgrades. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GMP and GxP in electronic systems. Experience in international manufacturing environments, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences sector. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, HPSM, GEAR, Git, or other source code/version control systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
