Summary:
UST is looking for a Senior Automation Architect with deep expertise in RPA development, particularly using UiPath or similar enterprise automation platforms. The role involves leading and implementing complex automation projects, defining technical standards and architectures, and mentoring developers. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in automation design patterns, CI/CD, AI/ML integration, and scripting languages like C#, VB.NET, or Python. Responsibilities include end-to-end automation delivery, system testing, performance monitoring, and ensuring scalability, security, and accuracy across business processes.
The Opportunity:
Responsibilities:

• Recommend technical approach in implementing automation solutions

• Lead, develop and modify complex automation projects through analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation using disciplined software development processes.

• Develop standards, guidelines for the automation development to have a consistent process.

• Translate business and technical requirements into automation implementation. Provide technical guidance during requirements and design phase of the projects.

• Recommend the right automation architecture design, focusing on end-to-end business transactions across multiple systems and ensuring accuracy of data, security, visibility, scalability and performance.

• Conduct extensive testing and verification of test results during automation testing with other systems; troubleshoot system errors and serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex errors.

• Develop new solutions and evaluate alternatives against decision criteria. Provide support in evaluation of system security methodologies.

• Identify appropriate automation patterns to use with project teams and design, develop those components and guide project teams through implementation.

• Work closely with project teams in defining technical aspects of automation and incorporate the established testing processes.

• Document test plans, technical and functional specifications.

• Administer one or more automation platform(s), monitor, secure automation processes, and manage BOT performance, etc.

• Stay abreast of industry trends in order to proactively identify areas for growth, improvement, and development with the capability to implement industry best practices in systems' reliability, stability, scalability, performance and security.

• Mentor developers on patterns, standards, framework components and best use of automation technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation development

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation specifically in UIPath or other enterprise automation software

• Expert in enterprise RPA processes, including design patterns, development, configuration, deployment, testing, and security

• Expertise in automating processes involving PDFs, Emails, Excel, Websites, and Macros (preferably with UiPath's RE Framework)

• Proficiency with AI/ML tools to enhance RPA capabilities, such as UiPath Document Understanding

• Skilled in any programming languages and technologies like C#, VB.NET, Python and scripting languages

• Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies

• Strong experience in guiding developers in delivering automations

• Demonstrate broad knowledge in business concepts, processes, and functional IT strategy.

• Strong experience in developing core components such as exception/error management, and logging.

• Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills with experience in resolving critical and complex incidents.

• Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization; strong customer focus, quality, and results orientation.

• Ability to articulate complex ideas, comprehend written and verbal communications, and possess good presentation skills.

• Professional certification in RPA tools is required

• Highly motivated self-starter
