This position plays a key role in supporting the
migration of Siebel to AWS
, including repository updates, UI and business logic changes, workflow configurations, integrations, and workspace-based deployments. The engineer will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and technical teams to ensure stable Siebel operations aligned with AWS platform requirements.

Configure and customize Siebel CRM applications using
Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Tools

Design, implement, and validate Siebel repository objects, including:
+ Business Components (BCs)
+ Business Objects (BOs)
+ Applets, Views, Links
+ Workflows and runtime events Manage repository changes using
workspace-based development
, including merges, conflict resolution, and SRF builds.
Support installation and setup of Siebel components such as:
+ Siebel Gateway
+ Siebel Server
+ Application Interface (AI) Configure Enterprise, Server, and Component parameters for
Call Center, Partner, and eService
modules.
Establish users, responsibilities, access controls, and visibility rules.
Validate environment readiness through UI access testing, workflow activation, and component verification.
Analyze Siebel logs and troubleshoot complex functional and configuration issues.
Integration & AWS Support
Support Siebel migration and operations in an
AWS-hosted environment
.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve environment-level issues impacting Siebel development and deployments.
Understand and support integrations using:
+ Siebel EAI
+ REST/SOAP Web Services
+ MQ/Kafka
+ Custom APIs or middleware platforms Update and validate integration endpoints affected by AWS migration.
Support connectivity validation between Siebel and AWS services such as:
+ API Gateway
+ Lambda
+ S3 Coordinate with integration architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Gather and refine requirements by working with product owners, business SMEs, and architects.
Document configuration changes, workflows, deployment steps, and migration activities.
Participate in functional demos, UAT support, release activities, and production cutovers.
Mentor junior team members on Siebel Tools best practices, configuration standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5-10 years of hands-on experience
with Oracle Siebel CRM.
Strong expertise in Siebel repository configuration and validation.
Proven experience with:
+ Repository merges and conflict resolution
+ SRF builds and release management Solid understanding of Siebel runtime architecture, Object Managers, component groups, and event flows.
Strong troubleshooting skills using Siebel logs.
Experience with Siebel versions
IP 17+ or v24.x
, including
Siebel Open UI
.
Familiarity with Siebel-based integrations and middleware technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting
Siebel on AWS
(EC2, RDS/Aurora, ALB, CloudWatch).
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
for Siebel repository and configuration deployments.
Understanding of containerization or cloud modernization approaches.
Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments with strict change management.
