Summary

We are looking for a Security Engineer - Infrastructure Security (DevSecOps) to join our growing security team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on cloud infrastructure security, container hardening, secure automation, and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS cloud security, Terraform, CI/CD, and a passion for strengthening DevSecOps practices across engineering teams

The Opportunity:

As a Lead I - DevOps Engineering in the Security team, you will take a key role in shaping and implementing secure infrastructure practices at scale. You'll work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to drive compliance, mitigate risks, and embed security into every phase of the software development lifecycle.

You'll be the subject matter expert for infrastructure security, lead cloud compliance initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to building a culture of proactive security within the organization. You'll also support threat modeling, security tooling integration, and automated security assessments within CI/CD pipelines.

What you need:

8+ years in Information Security with 3+ years in DevSecOps.

Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure security (preferably AWS).

Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD security integrations.

Proven ability to conduct and lead risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and cloud infrastructure reviews.

Required Skills:

Cloud Security Expertise (AWS) - IAM, VPC, S3, Security Groups, GuardDuty, etc.

Strong knowledge of NIST, CIS benchmarks, and Common Control Frameworks (CCF).

Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices.

Container Security - Docker, Kubernetes (network policies, RBAC).

Secure CI/CD pipeline integration - Secrets management, SAST, DAST, dependency scanning.

Threat modeling - Familiar with STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK, and related methodologies.

Experience with manual and automated secure code reviews.

Adversarial security analysis using open-source tools and scripting.

Languages: Proficiency in Java, Scala, Ruby.

Familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.

Desired Skills:

Experience with multi-cloud environments.

Expertise in API security and Kafka security architecture.

Hands-on experience with penetration testing (APIs, applications).

Understanding of network protocols and cloud-native networking.

Strong understanding of cryptography, PKI, and secrets management.

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CKA, CISSP, CCSP).

Experience with DevOps culture and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (preferred):
AWS Certified Security - Specialty Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
