Role Overview: Data Analyst
A Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting data to help an organization make data-driven decisions. They transform raw data into actionable insights, build dashboards/reports, and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and organize raw data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Use tools such as Excel and SQL to manipulate, query, and analyze data.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Apply statistical methods and logical thinking to solve business problems and define business rules.
Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders based on analytical findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
Knowledge of data cleaning techniques (handling missing data, removing duplicates, ensuring consistency).
Ability to apply statistical methods for analysis and problem-solving.
Good communication skills to present complex data in a clear, understandable manner.
Experience - 4-8 years of experience
