JOB DESCRIPTION Additional Comments: Team Member supporting various tasks related to Windows and NOC operations for IT Infrastructure (24x7) and services based upon our US client Respond to, and diagnose problems through discussions with users, including problem recognition, logs, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps Provide remote desktop support and perform other activities based on SOPs. Respond to telephone calls, email, instant messages, and assigned customer tickets assign work orders/incidents to appropriate support teams and follow up until closure. Detect, report, document, and resolve system and application outages or problems encountered during operations, including collecting diagnostic data, restoring, developing workaround, and others necessary for troubleshooting. Support in areas relating to performance tuning, troubleshooting, installation, patching, and configuration of Windows Servers. Experience troubleshooting and log analysis for Virtual machines, monitoring virtual infrastructure health and performance using vCenter servers. Create Virtual Machines from the template, manage and configure templates according to client requirements. . Configure DNS server and DHCP for the new server build Should have excellent Communication skills, requires interaction with stake holders/on site counterparts daily through Telecommunication/email. Excellent Knowledge in Veritas NetBackup, VMware vSphere Web client, service-now, Qualys Vulnerability management, SCCM, Azure, Active Directory, L1 & L2 Tasks. . Proactive alerting and notifying stake holders during critical incidents and escalations. Provide appropriate inputs to stake holders during Major incidents. Contributing towards ensuring IT uptime, and documentation. Validating for desired performance and health status of all monitoring tools deployed in NOC. Generating reports related to availability, performance and capacity bottle necks at desired intervals as per operational requirements and on need basis from the above tools. Responsible for high-level technical resolution for incidents received from phone calls, emails, or automated ticketing systems during specific shifts. Managing & Troubleshooting Active Directory user-related issues. Logging of incidents and events based on appropriate categories using ServiceNow ticketing tool and assigning it to the appropriate stake holders for resolution. Notifying incidents events using appropriate communication channels. Provide first level of support for all infrastructure and application incidents by meeting the Response and Resolution SLA. ITIL Framework best practices actions on Incident, Problem, Change, Event and Service Management. Knowledge in Monitoring Tools and activities (SiteScope, SCOM, xMatters, etc) . SCCM 2012/CB Administration tasks.. Experience with Patch Management using SCCM for Windows. Audit, review and adjust current patching process and procedures.. Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues.. Troubleshooting of Servers, VM's, Password reset, DUO & MFA. . Troubleshooting Windows Server 2008/R2, 20012/R2 issues Develop workflow behind vulnerability management process Skills Required. Perform Quality Analysis (QA) of newly built servers. . Will be considered to Lead position based upon the performance of the individual.
