Overall: 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst
RPA Projects: 3+ years
Project Management: 2+ years
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in designing RPA-based solutions using UiPath
Hands-on experience in:
Creating Process Definition Documents (PDD)
Mapping as-is and to-be processes
Building automation with logic, error handling, input/output criteria
Strong understanding of automation technologies like UiPath, Smartsheets, Airtable
Experience in:
Conducting system analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation
Creating test plans, test cases, and managing UAT sessions
Monitoring bots post-deployment and handling production incidents
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder presentation skills
Certifications:
UiPath Automation Business Analyst Associate (Required)
UiPath Automation Business Analyst Professional (Required)
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with:
Smartsheets, Airtable
API integrations and automated testing tools
Business processes in SAP Finance, SCM, HR
Enterprise tools like UltiPro, Coupa, Salesforce
Software development knowledge (Recommended)
UiPath Associate Automation Developer or Automation Developer Professional certifications
Job Responsibilities:
Translate business problems into automated solutions using various tools
Partner with IT and business teams (Finance, Audit, Marketing, Ops, etc.) to map and automate processes
Define functional and performance requirements
Collaborate with RPA Architects to design scalable automation solutions
Develop system design documents, project scope, and data analysis reports
Conduct testing: unit, integration, and performance
Lead UAT, present demos, and handle post-deployment support
Provide training and documentation for end-users
Ensure change management and stakeholder approvals
Act as SME, monitor bots during hypercare, and drive issue resolution
Participate in quarterly reviews and provide automation impact metrics
Oversee vendor work and offer technical feedback
