:Job Title: Process Management xe2x80x93 Team Leader (Shift Time Zone: UK)Overview of Role/Principal Responsibilities:The Accounting Control Process Management department is responsible for validating data held on the Aladdin Accounting Book of Record, which is crucial for generating client valuation reporting and performance calculations. As an accounting subject matter expert within the team, the role involves overseeing the timely management and clearance of Quality Control (QC) checks, as well as resolving any queries arising from Accounting Process Management activities.As a Team Leader, you will:Supervise the workflow of the team, ensuring delivery of tasks to agreed standards.Handle the most complex QC checks and queries received by the team.Communicate with upstream operational teams to ensure timely, accurate, and complete information is received.Proactively manage inter-departmental SLAs.Lead continuous process improvements and identify enhancements to the operating model.Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong emphasis on leveraging technology for improved efficiency.Act as a mentor and escalation point for junior team members, offering daily support and guidance.Key Responsibilities:Supervision: Oversee a number of processes or team members on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that timelines are met and high-quality outputs are produced. Escalate issues to managers when necessary.Accounting Control Process Management Tasks:Plan and prioritize quality control checks on the Aladdin Accounting platform across global teams.Coordinate workflow across operating geographies.Ensure efficient and clear handover of activities between regions at the start and end of each day.Provide oversight of the platform and upstream functions to ensure SLAs are adhered to across all Operations teams using Aladdin.Produce periodic valuation reporting (typically monthly) within agreed quality and timeframes.Query Resolution: Ensure timely resolution of queries arising from Accounting Process Management activities.Business Controls: Ensure business controls are implemented and adhered to.Consistency and Process Improvement:Ensure consistency of processes and procedures across operating geographies.Continually review and improve operational systems and workflow, including identifying training opportunities and utilizing new tools and technologies for automation.Compliance & Audit: Assist the Head of Process Management with compliance and audit reviews, including the documentation of risks and issues.Reporting: Assist in the production of monthly MIS & KPI figures for the Accounting Control Process Management function.Escalation: Escalate issues that fall outside agreed service standards to the Head of Process Management.Change Management: Lead the successful implementation of changes to working practices and procedures to improve individual/team/departmental performance and reduce operational risks.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationships between the Accounting Process Management team and internal/external clients and suppliers.Collaboration: Liaise with other operational areas and external parties to support the execution of the above responsibilities.Problem Solving: Use initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions for escalated issues.Skills and Behaviours Required:Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Problem Solving: Proactive approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail.Prioritization & Organization: Strong skills in prioritizing tasks for yourself and others.Learning & Development: Desire to continually learn and develop both personally and professionally.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.Industry Experience:Experience in the Securities or Fund Management industry at a technical or management level.Previous experience in portfolio accounting.Qualifications: Attained appropriate training and competency levels for the role (e.g., IAQ professional qualifications).Management Experience: Previous experience in managing a team and developing people.Skills:Back Office OperationsInvestment ManagementAladdinSkills:Back Office Operations,Investment Management,AladdinAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
