Boeing ecommerce team is currently looking for two Lead Hybris Developer to join their team in Bangalore, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) IT organization. The selected individual will work in the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) in Bangalore, India. As a Lead or Consultant or Senior* SAP Hybris developer, the selected individual will work with the Boeing India teams and its partners and stakeholders to develop, maintain and improve the ecommerce applications.

Position Responsibilities:
The selected candidate for this position will work on development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications that are used to offer various parts, products and services to Business Regional & General Aviation (BRGA) as well as Commercial Airline (CA) customers across the world. This position involves working closely with other development / support teams in India, US and other locations. The selected individual will be a part of the engineering and technology team in Boeing India.
As a lead SAP Hyris developer, the selected individual will be highly skilled, professional engineer and would work (architectural solution, design, develop / test & support ecommerce applications) collaboratively with international teams comprising of software development, product management & business analysts and play a key role in ensuring BGS ecommerce applications are competitive in the market
Selected candidate should have proven ability to produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient designs using data driven architecture with technologies such as SAP Hybris, JAVA / J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Angular, Azure etc. Has good understanding of load balancing, authentication and fault tolerance through Tomcat application server, Apache webserver and F5 load balancer & CDN
Should have experience in Software Engineering Domain with evidence of thorough understanding of requirements to solve problems and actively participates in software development.
Own software design and architectural decisions.
Troubleshoots issues with the ecommerce applications and provides resolutions (including DevSecOps stack issues). Coordinates with teams to resolve complex issues related to processes, methods, tools and standards
Creates and maintain necessary software documentation (architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs, etc.)
Keep track and actively reduce technical debts (hardening the software) while working with other developers / leads / architects / SM / PO / etc.
The selected individual would need to work in close cooperation and actively aligns with the technical roadmap, interaction design, development and testing with similar teams based in USA or other regions
Should have excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsible for maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Should have demonstrated ability to work in SAFE AGILE environment
Demonstrated ability to create positive impact on customer by developing polished, cohesive, effective, and user friendly web applications for large and complex aviation related systems
Experience in understanding and interacting with multiple data formats. Ability to rapidly learn and understand software from source code.
Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners.
Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
Extensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/Story creation as well as solution design and architecture.
Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to earn trust, persuade, motivate and mentor other team members. To be effective, this person must earn the respect of the Scrum teams, Scrum Masters, Technical Architect, Release Train Manager, Business teams, customers and all other different stakeholders.
Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, strong analytical and creative problem solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
Ability to independently execute & deliver on the backlog without dependency or hand-holding.
Should be an Excellent team player. Works in an Agile Scrum team following the best practices on Software Craftsmanship such as Test-driven development, Code Refactoring, and Pair Programming/Peer Reviews.
Work in close cooperation - actively aligns the technical roadmap, APIs and Interaction Design, with teams based in US.
Mentors junior team members on technical aspects. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets and be a sought-after expert that other developers can benefit from.
This position provides periodic updates to Boeing India management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents.This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world.
This position will support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, customer engagement, etc.
