About the Role
Fivetran is looking for a Lead HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our teams in the APAC region, with the majority based in our Bangalore, India office, but also presence in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. These teams are predominantly Engineering, Information Security, Product, and Go to Market/Revenue. The HRBP will be key in partnering with leaders to ensure that our people and organizational development strategies support our business objectives.
The HRBP will provide strategic solutions in the areas of organizational design, succession planning, performance management, change management, DEI, coaching & development, employee engagement, and employee relations. We are seeking a self-motivated, DEI-focused, data-driven and collaborative leader who is passionate about fostering a positive work culture and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bangalore with two days per week required in-office to foster collaboration, executive partnership, and team engagement.
What You'll Do

  • Leverage business acumen to partner with leaders to build and implement talent and organizational development programs
  • Leverage data to guide decision making and support organizational change
  • Serve as the go-to HR person for the teams in your remit and know when to redirect to other departments
  • Coach employees and leadership through complex situations related to performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Total Rewards, Workplace Operations, and L&D to ensure our programs are aligned with business needs
Skills We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner preferably within a scaling or fast paced company
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders to drive organizational change
  • A customer focused mindset with an eye towards creating a culture where people can thrive and grow their careers
  • Excellent decision making skills. Being able to see the broader picture but also understand the situational circumstances while leveraging data to help drive towards the best possible outcome for the people and the business.
  • Experience building and supporting people programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in India, and experience with other countries in the region.
Bonus Skills
  • CHRG, CHRP, or CHRM certification
  • Coaching certification
  • HR experience within a global SaaS company
  • Professional experience outside of Human Resources
