Lead Generation Specialist
to be the engine of our growth by finding and qualifying potential new clients.
The Role: Your Mission
Your mission will be to significantly expand our client base by identifying and engaging new business opportunities for our video editing services. You will be the crucial first point of contact, generating excitement and qualifying prospects before handing them off to the agency owner for closing.
This is a
remote position
for a highly motivated individual ready to take ownership of our outbound outreach strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Targeted Prospecting:
Conduct market research to identify and categorize ideal potential clients (ICP) who align with our agency's services.
Outreach Execution:
Develop and execute high-volume, personalized outreach campaigns across multiple channels, including cold email, LinkedIn, and potentially cold calling.
Lead Qualification:
Rigorously qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria (e.g., budget, authority, need, and timeline--BANT) to ensure a high-quality hand-off.
Pipeline Management:
Utilize our CRM ([Insert your CRM, e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable]) to meticulously track all lead activity, qualification notes, and schedule follow-ups.
Script & Template Optimization:
Continuously test and refine messaging, outreach scripts, and email sequences to improve response rates and conversion efficiency.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the agency owner/sales team to align on target markets, share feedback on lead quality, and ensure a smooth transition of qualified opportunities.
Goal Attainment:
Meet and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings booked and opportunities generated.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience:
Proven track record in a
Lead Generation, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or Business Development
role, preferably within an agency, media, or B2B service environment.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to craft compelling, error-free, and personalized outreach messages.
Resourcefulness:
An innate curiosity and ability to quickly research and understand a prospect's business, challenges, and video needs.
Tech Savviness:
Familiarity with modern lead generation tools, email automation platforms, and CRM systems.
Discipline:
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a high volume of activity independently.
Bonus:
A basic understanding of video production and editing terminology is a strong plus.
