Role Overview
The purpose of this internship is to learn how to plan, execute, refine, and scale outbound campaigns that generate responses and booked calls. The role includes cold email outreach, LinkedIn outreach, CRM management, prospect research, and continuous campaign optimisation.
Expect to learn systems, frameworks, and processes used in real commercial outreach campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Cold Email Outreach - Create targeted prospect lists. Perform basic research and personalisation at scale. Assist with inbox setup, warmup procedures, and deliverability maintenance. Launch and optimise outbound campaigns. Track open rates, reply rates, and conversions.
LinkedIn Outreach - Execute multi step outreach sequences. Optimise profiles for outreach credibility. Craft clear, concise outreach messaging. Engage with prospects and handle early stage conversations.
CRM and Pipeline Management - Maintain accurate lead records. Move prospects through defined stages. Support sales teams by documenting responses and booking calls. Prepare simple performance reports based on defined metrics.
Experimentation and Process Improvement - Test new outreach angles and templates. Monitor campaign data for trends or issues. Suggest refinements based on performance. Apply a fast testing mindset rather than a slow perfection approach.
What Success Looks Like
Month 1 - Understanding of outbound lead generation fundamentals. Ability to build prospect lists, launch campaigns, and manage CRM entries. Confidence in handling basic responses and assisting with internal outreach campaigns.
Month 2 - Greater ownership of outreach tasks. Ability to refine templates, test new ideas, and analyse campaign results. Competence in running LinkedIn outreach with minimal supervision. Demonstrated contribution to internal and client outreach projects.
Month 3 - Ability to build complete outreach sequences from start to finish. Management of small campaigns independently. Clear understanding of messaging adjustments across different industries. Support for sales teams through qualified lead generation. Performance similar to an entry level SDR or lead generation specialist.
