Job Title:

Sr. Lead - General Ledger & Reporting

Location:

Chennai, India

Reporting To:

Assistant Manager / Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team with at least

3 years of experience in team management

. Demonstrate

flexibility

in working shifts and on holidays, when required.

Oversee the day-to-day operations

of the General Ledger (GL) and Reporting team.

Monitor team performance

and provide timely, constructive feedback. Conduct

internal cross-training and knowledge sharing

sessions for team members and new joiners.

Motivate and guide

team members to achieve individual and team goals. Conduct

biannual staff appraisals

and create performance improvement plans. Uphold

high ethical and moral standards

in all operations. Exhibit

excellent communication and interpersonal skills

for effective collaboration. Ensure

process control and compliance

, avoiding any lapses in execution. Perform

other duties as assigned

by management.

Education & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Commerce or Accounting (mandatory).

Master's Degree / CA Inter / CWA Inter

preferred.

Professional Experience

Minimum

5 years of experience managing a team

of two or more members.

8-12 years of experience

in General Ledger and Reporting processes. Strong knowledge of

GL, Reporting, and internal control mechanisms

to ensure accuracy and compliance. Proven record in

process improvement initiatives

. Experienced in

stakeholder management

and business communication.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
