Lead Functional Consultant SAP MM

, where you will collaborate with business users to translate procurement and inventory management requirements into effective SAP MM solutions.


You will be responsible for configuring SAP MM modules, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting both implementation and production processes. If you have substantial SAP MM experience and are ready to lead functional consulting initiatives, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users to understand procurement and inventory management requirements Translate requirements into SAP MM functional design and implement system configurations Configure key SAP MM components including purchasing, inventory management, vendor master, material master, pricing, and invoice verification Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as SD, SAP TM, EWM, and FI/CO to support business process integration Develop functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and workflows Partner with technical teams including ABAP developers and BASIS for solution delivery Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing Manage cutover activities, data migration, and master data setup Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLAs Document system changes, create training materials, and conduct user training Identify opportunities for process improvements utilizing SAP S/4HANA capabilities

Requirements

Extensive experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant with 8 to 13 years of relevant work Strong knowledge of SAP MM processes including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, vendor and material master data, and invoice verification Hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration and troubleshooting Familiarity with ASAP and Activate implementation methodologies Analytical and problem-solving skills to address business and technical challenges Communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and technical teams Ability to support both implementation projects and production environments
