Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

routine inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM)

of fire hydrants, landing valves, hose reels, and associated accessories. Carry out

preventive and breakdown maintenance

of fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, manual call points, hooters, and interface modules. Identify and troubleshoot faults in fire protection systems and restore them to operational condition promptly. Coordinate with the site in-charge or client representative during service visits and submit service reports. Maintain proper documentation of all works carried out as per AMC contract requirements. Replace damaged or faulty parts after necessary approvals and ensure proper re-commissioning. Ensure compliance with

NBC, IS standards (e.g., IS 3844, IS 2189), and local fire norms

. Support the commissioning team during system handovers or new installations if required. Ensure use of PPE and follow safety protocols during all site work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Fire & Safety / Electronics or equivalent. Minimum

2-5 years of experience

in maintaining fire hydrant and fire alarm systems. Good understanding of fire protection system layouts and basic wiring diagrams. Ability to use testing tools and diagnostic devices (e.g., multimeter, loop testers). Familiarity with makes like Agni, Ravel, GST, Morley, Honeywell, or similar fire alarm brands is a plus. Ability to work independently and travel to various AMC sites when required. Basic communication skills in English and local language. Physically fit and willing to work in high-rise or industrial premises.

Preferred Certifications (if any):

Fire Safety or Fire Alarm Technician training certificates NFPA or IS standard training programs (optional but desirable)
