Summary You will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, including accounting policy implementations, internal audit & control work, distributed controllership, process simplification and internal controls over internal process monitoring and risk. Serve as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations. Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy. A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations. Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance. Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. You will manage the complete financial operations like Closing, Reporting, Compliance, Corporate Governance & build a strong Controllership. Strengthen controllership through process standardization opportunities and identify best practices and apply them Closing & Finalization of books and audit finalization which will include preparation of schedules, maintaining and submitting back up documents auditors. Closure of financial audit of standalone and consolidated entity as per tight timeline Closure of cost audit, tax audit and transfer Pricing/ any other audit of South Asia entities. Post Stat audit activities like passing the adjustment entries and getting the entries regularized in GAAP books Lead, develop and generate periodic MIS, Dashboards and other matrices to be presented in review meetings with Top Management & Business Finance Leaders. Participate and contribute simplification projects. Participating in new system testing and implementations Submission of Quarterly DR reports as per US GAAP Preparation Account reconciliations as per internal timelines as per Reconciliation enterprise standards Accounts Payable - Oversee all vendor payments/ AP Operation. Required Qualifications Professional Qualification in CA & CS with 6+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting. Hands on experience in Fundamental Accounting combined with strong Controllership experience in the early years of your career or currently is definitely desired. Must be Expert in Closing & Reporting ideally for more than one medium d entity Experience in US GAAP will definitely add value to your role as most of your role will revolve around the same. Good working knowledge of Oracle and SAP is definitely preferred for this role Ability to present to leadership team, strong Analytical skills, Excellent interpersonal skills.
