As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in building and scaling high-impact, machine learning-driven products. This is a senior leadership position where you will combine strong engineering judgment, people leadership, and strategic thinking to guide multiple teams delivering complex ML-powered systems. You will work closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to translate vision into execution, while setting a high bar for technical excellence, reliability, and innovation. This is a full-time role designed for leaders who enjoy mentoring engineers, shaping architecture, and driving outcomes at scale.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams working on machine learning-centric products and platforms
• Define technical vision, architecture, and long-term roadmap aligned with product and business goals
• Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver customer value
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable ML systems in production
• Ensure high standards of engineering excellence, including code quality, testing, observability, and system reliability
• Guide teams in applying best practices for ML lifecycle management, including data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and automation
• Review and influence critical technical decisions, balancing speed, quality, and scalability
• Identify technical risks early and lead mitigation strategies across teams
• Mentor and coach engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering growth and leadership capability
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management to build strong, diverse, and high-performing teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, delivery velocity, and cross-team alignment
• Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Lead Engineering Manager in a product-driven environment
• Strong background in machine learning systems, including real-world experience deploying ML models at scale
• Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, and distributed systems
• Ability to bridge the gap between ML research, engineering execution, and business impact
• Experience leading teams through complex technical challenges and ambiguous problem spaces
• Strong people management skills with a passion for mentoring, feedback, and team development
