Plastic component design considering Regulatory and product requirements, Plastic manufacturi ng process (injection molding, 2K molding, Thermoforming...etc), Plastic joinery process (Vibration welding, US welding, gluing...), Secondary process (Painting, chrome plating, IMD...etc), Soft touch process (IMG, Thermoforming, Slush molding..etc), Material se lection (considering requirements, quality and cost), DV/PV validation.Regulatory requirements:- Head imapct, Knee Imapct, Air bag deployment, Front Crash...etResponsibilities1. Contribution to planning- Support Concept Selection for by creating multiple tech nical concept proposals. - Evaluate supplier proposals and define the best engineering solutions to meet component/ sub-module PAT and QCT targets- Enfore the Technical Standards and policies in Engg design - Attribute Benchmarking- Participate in Engineerin g review related to sub-modules and take design actions as directed2. Key actions and decisions (Long term and Short term)- Suppor t Timeline, RFQ-s and SOR-s creation.- Encourage innovation and process improvement ideas and its execution to improve cycle time a nd quality4. Communication (Key stakeholders and nature of communication) - Changes required based on New Regulations, Customer ex pectations & Business environment (Quality & Cost)- Creation and Management of DMLs with 100% BOM accuracy.- DFM / DFA for the sub aggregate and GD& T for the component and sub system- VAVE Idea Generation and support Implementation and execution of ideas- Sup port Indent raising, build, followup,proto trial and validation.- Support Supplier design review, TRSO, TDKO, Issue analysis a nd data collection ECN release, QRM Issues resolution, Additional varients on same platform evaluation and data generation3.
