Marmon Global Innovation Center is seeking a highly capable Lead Engineer specializing in CFD Analysis, preferably with experience in heat exchangers or diverse product domains. As a senior member of the CFD Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading advanced simulation activities to support product design, optimization, and validation across diverse domains, with preference for experience in thermal systems and heat exchangers. You will translate real-world operating conditions into robust CFD models, correlate simulations with experimental or field data, and provide actionable design recommendations. You will collaborate closely with global engineering teams, contribute to capability development, and mentor junior engineers. In this role, you will further strengthen your technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT's growth and innovation.

Mandatory Skills:



Strong expertise in CFD modeling, simulation setup, meshing strategies, and result interpretation Proven hands-on experience with

ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or OpenFOAM

Deep understanding of

fluid dynamics, heat transfer, turbulence modeling, and CHT

Experience in

pressure drop, flow analysis, porous media, multiphase, and species transport simulations

Ability to correlate simulation results with experimental data and refine models Strong proficiency in preprocessing and meshing tools such as

Fluent Meshing, HyperMesh, or ANSA

Ability to translate engineering problems into accurate simulation boundary conditions and models Strong reporting, presentation, and technical communication skills. Basic Python programming skills.

Desired Skills:



Experience with heat exchangers, thermal systems, or complex flow systems Knowledge of optimization frameworks (Optislang, Tosca, etc.) Experience working with cloud or HPC environments for large-scale simulations Familiarity with post-processing tools such as

ParaView

or

EnSight

Exposure to aeroacoustics Modeling Working knowledge of CAD tools such as

SpaceClaim

or

SolidWorks

Experience working with global engineering teams Exposure to international CFD Modeling and testing standards Experience with combustion Modeling (added advantage).

Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline 6-8 years of proven industry experience in CFD analysis and Modeling. Experience collaborating with global engineering teams (preferably US teams). Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation. Key Responsibilities / Functions:



Experience in

heat exchanger CFD or thermal systems

. Lead advanced CFD analysis activities supporting product design, troubleshooting, and optimization. Develop robust CFD models accurately reflecting real-world operating conditions. Perform simulations involving

RANS/URANS/LES

as required for steady and unsteady flow problems. Validate and correlate simulation outcomes with experimental or field data. Provide clear engineering insight and design recommendations to product teams. Drive design optimization through parametric and sensitivity studies.

Develop

and

standardize

CFD methodologies

, best practices, and workflows. Generate high-quality engineering reports and present findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with global engineering teams and cross-functional partners. Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting capability development within the team.
