About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer...

In this role, you will:

• Lead and deliver application production support within defined objectives and continuously improve business user's feedback/satisfaction.
• Restore production quickly when incident/failure occurred and perform a detailed analysis for every failure/incident to develop permanent fix along with development team.
• Plan and deliver changes to Production/DR environment as per change management processes.
• Implement agile practices/tools to improve team efficiency, quality of service, and contribute in improving team's maturity. Should be able demonstrate agile rituals.
• Contribute in backlog grooming and work along with product owner/application owner.
• Plan and perform seamless application releases in production during off business hours / weekends.
• Keep the stakeholders informed with effective and prompt communication about on-going production incidents/activities and its impacts in timely manner until they are fully resolved / completed.
• Simplify and automate support processes using automation tools / custom scripts to reduce manual efforts.
• Ideate/ Initiate transformation projects to reduce risk and cost in delivering support activities.
• Work collaboratively with Developers, Solution Delivery Leads in resolution of technical issues, and align to global priorities.
• Prepare Business continuity plan and conduct DR exercise as per schedules.
• Report progress/issues/risks daily and weekly to management as required from time to time.
• Train and coach juniors and new joiners on both technical and processes of support activities.
• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, International:

• 12+ years of experience in Application Production Support and Application Development in banking domain.
• Hands-on experience in Incident Management, Change Management, problem management, release management, BCP activities.
• Ability to develop automated solutions using Windows Power Shell, Python, C#.Net, SQL/PL-SQL or any programming language.
• Technical and Functional understanding of GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) domain and tools.
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
• Excellent skills on DevOps & SRE techniques/ tools.
• Monitoring of application and platform using ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, Splunk, or any tools in the industry.
• Excellent understanding on agile methodologies / tools. Should be able to demonstrate the maturity at work.
• Ability to define transformation roadmap for projects and deliver transformation projects (planning to delivery)
• Effective Communication skills (written and verbal), organizational skills.
• High collaborative skills to work with teams in India and abroad
• Detail-oriented and persistent, able to drive complicated tasks to completion.
• Flexible to work in shifts that fall between 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM and weekend support during application release/upgrades as job demands.
• Knowledge of .Net, RSA Archer, MS SQL Server, and ETL tools is added advantage.
• Experience in leading team of 4 to 6 members and provide technical guidance.
