We are looking for an experienced
Lead Engineer QA
with strong expertise in both
Manual and Automation Testing
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading QA processes, ensuring product quality, building automation frameworks, mentoring junior QA members, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end QA lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and sign-off.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web/mobile/API testing.
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, system, smoke, integration, UAT).
Create detailed test cases, test reports, defect logs, and documentation.
Drive automation coverage and ensure faster, reliable test cycles.
Work closely with developers to identify, investigate, and resolve issues quickly.
Conduct root cause analysis and propose preventive quality measures.
Mentor junior QA engineers and review test artifacts.
Ensure CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release meetings.
Improve QA processes, tools, and best practices across teams.
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in
Software Testing
(Manual + Automation).
Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like
Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium
, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript / Java / Python).
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
Experience with API testing using
Postman / REST Assured
.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Strong experience in test case design, bug reporting, and quality metrics.
Ability to lead QA efforts independently and manage test timelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
