Job Description

The Lead Engineer - Powertrain is responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of powertrain systems to meet performance, efficiency, emissions, and regulatory requirements. The role involves technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of powertrain programs across ICE, hybrid, or electric vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead powertrain system design, development, and integration activities

Drive performance, durability, NVH, efficiency, and emissions targets

Coordinate with vehicle integration, calibration, manufacturing, and supplier teams

Oversee validation, testing, and issue resolution across development phases

Ensure compliance with global automotive standards and regulatory requirements

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong expertise in powertrain systems (ICE/Hybrid/EV)

Experience in powertrain testing, validation, and calibration

Knowledge of automotive regulations and quality standards

Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Experience:

10+ Years

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?700,000.00 - ?1,800,000.00 per year
