Job Description

Professional Experience: 15-18 Years Engineering Design Experience (Minimum 8 year Offshore Design experience is required. Candidates should have done at least 1 Greenfield Process Platform & 3-4 Greenfield Well Platforms and some Offshore modification Projects- for Clients like Saudi Aramco, ONGC etc) Role: To Lead, Guide, assist the Electrical Team & other project team members to execute Detailed Engineering activities. The candidate should have good design experience to prepare, check, review and approve documents / deliverables like Design Basis, Data Sheet, Specification RFQ ,TQ/TBE/PS/VDR for items like GIS, GIB, Generator, Power& Distribution Transformer, HV Switchgear, LV Switchgear & Busduct, Power Management System, AC & DC DBs, UPS, Nav. Aid System, HV & LV Cables, Sub-sea Cables, Solar Power system, MTG/CCVT/TEG/Wind turbine Power Generation System, Heat Tracing System, Cathodic Protection System etc. Load List and Analysis, Single Line Diagrams and Control Schematics, Sizing Calculations, Hazardous Area Classification Drawings, Equipment/Lighting/Earthing/Cable Tray Layouts ,Electrical Installation Drawings, Multi Cable Transit Details, Electrical Interconnection Diagrams, Cable Schedules, MCT Schedule, Material Take Off ( MTO), As Built Documentation etc. Power System Study and Analysis like Short Circuit Analysis, Load Flow Analysis, Motor Starting Study, Transient Stability Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Arc Flash Study, Relay Co-ordination using ETAP. Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards such as Saudi Aramco Standards, IEC API etc. Candidate should have a good understanding and review capability of Electrical & Piping Layouts, structural Framing Plans etc. Key relationships Internal to organization: Interaction with other LEs and Project Team Key relationships External to organization: Interaction with Client and Vendors
