Overview:
In this role, the Lead Engineer (Performance & MBSE) will actively participate in NPI (New Product Introduction), redesign and technology programs of Actuation Systems business unit and will support various Actuation Systems product lines including Power Door Opening System (PDOS), Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS) and Highlift Flap and Slat Actuation systems.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Identifies/Defines system performance requirements
• Evaluates design solutions against the performance requirements
• Leads trade studies based on system performance and implements common performance analysis methods/practices.
• Engages in technical discussions both internal and external technical stakeholders and articulates the problem clearly.
• Analyses all levels of total system performance
• Prepares performance reports
• Supports system design, development and test related analysis activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of industry experience in physics based modelling of large systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of any modelling tools like Simscape/AMESim along with Matlab/Simulink expertise is preferred.
• Should have expertise on mechanical systems modeling, system performance analysis and validation.
• Should have exposure on Control Modeling, Model troubleshooting and Requirement management.
• Experience in Landing Systems, Actuations, Brake systems will be an added advantage
• Strong problem solving and analytical capability.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
