About the role:
As a .NET Developer you will play a vital role in designing, developing and maintaining software applications for the Trading & Processing team, part of FIS Capital Markets organization. Our Capital Market solutions include \xe2\x80\x93 Cleared Derivatives, Securities Processing, Securities Finance & Collateral, Cross Asset Trading & Risk, Electronic Trading, Tax Information Reporting & Compliance. • We bring award-winning, multi-asset-class investment operations and data solutions which primarily serve the Buy Side Asset Managers with front-to-back best in class solutions.
• Our market leader solutions include \xe2\x80\x93Investment Accounting Manager, Private Capital Suite, Virtus, Global Transfer Agency and Data Management solution.
• Premier Asset Managers leverage our comprehensive investment operations systems and cloud services to drive growth and efficiency in the dynamic market conditions.

What you will be doing:

• Design technical and functional solutions and implement the same in PDS, client support, maintenance.
• Designing and developing App Server/ API to support UI Development.
• Create / Enhance Desktop utilities and tools.
• Write Windows Services to support some of the background processing.
• Writing MS SQL stored procedures and optimized SQL queries.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and automated unit testing.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

What you will need:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Overall 5+ yrs exp as .Net C# Developer.
• Proficient in App Server, Desktop, Windows Services & API development.
• Good knowledge of database, especially with MS SQL
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals
