Job Description

The CSA (contractual Service Agreement) Systems Engineering team at GE Vernova Gas Power business is seeking a talented engineer to join us as a Lead Engineer where you will provide technical guidance and support to our heavy duty gas turbine customers and GEV repair shops. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all activities executed consider both the business and technical needs of the customers, with the ultimate goal of delivering quality solutions that meet customer requirements and enhance productivity for GE Vernova.

Roles and Responsibilities



Provide technical guidance and engineering support to gas turbine customers and GEV repair shops. Work closely with customers to understand their technical and business needs. Serve as the primary technical contact for customer engagements, ensuring their requirements are met. Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and solutions to customers. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the CSA Systems Engineering team Develop and refine engineering processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Ensure all solutions delivered meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Conduct thorough reviews and validations of technical documentation and deliverables. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement best practices. Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the CSA Systems Engineering team. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation with continuous improvement mindset. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements with keen eye on field learnings. Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications



B. Tech/M. Tech/M. E. in Mechanical engineering with good academic record. Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy duty gas turbine components design/services experience or in a related engineering discipline. Good understanding of heavy-duty gas turbine components and working principle Strong engineering problem solving capabilities. Strong analytical skills working independently and in a team with good communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
