Closely supervise all Equipment installation activities at various well sites, Group Gathering Stations, Water gathering stations and Compressor stations.
Co-ordinate for timely release of Construction Drawings and Specifications Study construction schedules, estimating man-power requirements for completion of job assignments. Compliance to HSE requirements Ensuring compliance to project documentation, standards, permits and statutory regulations Coordination with field engineering cell Material management of Bulk equipment and Packaged vendor supplied materials Joint measurement sheet preparation Vendor service engineer field visit management - call out notice, site coordination, time sheet certification, etc. Construction contractor work plan review, query resolution, resource management Review and approval of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and test procedures for all Mechanical equipment and activities. Installation, alignment ,Mechanical completion Testing and pre-commissioning of equipment#s , Review and approve Rigging scheme of various lifts, Crane selection. Sequential erection, alignment & grouting clearances of Piping, structures and equipment skids of various packaged equipment. Stage wise sub-assembly and installation of equipment parts as per OEM guidelines, Installation of Column internals and tray work, ducts Insulation and painting of equipment. Ensure compliance with construction procedures, ITP#s & HSEF requirement
Participate in construction review meeting, constructability workshop, FAT, etc. Certification of Joint Measurements Team player and capable to manage medium size team



Mentoring and motivating team members Coordinating with Project team members for execution budget requirements. Providing assistance in settlement of change order claims received from contractors. Management of Change and execution of works in accordance with the project execution frame



Familiar with applicable codes and standards Preparation of SAP based PR/WOR Package vendor management Storage of various items as per vendor recommendation



SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:





MPC Lead

- Mechanical (Static, Rotary and Piping)

- Project management, budget control, engineering, interface management, construction, installation, commissioning, trouble shooting and steady state support for Mechanical packages, equipment and piping.


Review of detail engineering deliverables prepared by Engineering Consultant Technical Bid Analysis and preparation of Technical Recommendation for placement of order.

Support O&M in testing, commissioning of systems and steady state activities.

Lead and co-ordinate with other discipline Project engineers as per the Project requirement.

Graduate Engineer # Mechanical

Experience Requirement :

Minimum 12 -15 years of experience in Oil & gas industry, Refinery, etc



Should have hands on work experience in a refinery / Oil & Gas industry with exposure to installation, assembly, Testing & Commissioning of Static, Rotary and Reciprocating equipment. Should Have expertise to verify accuracy of rigging schemes of various Lifts, Expertise in safe use of cranes , its attachments and other material Handling Arrangement , Rigging Tools and Tackles , Expertise in Column Internals works-Random and structured packing, Expertise in sequential installation of site fabricated API-650 Tanks by jacking and conventional method Have exposure to other discipline works in general and Piping and structural works in particular.

Skills & Competencies :

Knowledge of basics of Piping and structural work in Packages like compressor , GDU etc., Knowledge of various welding methods and consumables, NDT requirements , WPS, PQR and WPQ etc., Should have basic knowledge of codes like ASME sec VIII Div 1 & 2 , ASME B31.3 etc , Project specifications and documents , understand Radial ,axial and Angular Shaft and coupling alignment techniques , Levelling , alignment and grouting of skids etc., Knowledge of assembly of Equipment parts like Piston and Cylinder head of compressors,Various couplings and guard installation, Torqueing Greasing, Lubrication of bearings , Install and test scrubbers and Volume bottles etc as per OEM manual, First Fill of Lub oils , Coolants etc., Understands in depth GA drawing of equipments , Equipment Foundation Plan , P & ID and Isometrics of packaged piping, Installation of special pipe supports , Bellows, ducting etc and resolve Technical issues at site. Ability to execute all assigned works with highest HSE standards. Upfront risk assessment and implementation of control measures to achieve the goal. Good communication and analytical skills.
