Your Contribution

Material release activities for series production Contribution to product and production projects by addressing material and manufacturing-related topics Execution of regional material release projects Collaboration with internal and external development partners such R&D, process, purchase, test labs, simulation and suppliers Support for material and technology rollout initiatives Conducting product and process audits at MAHLE plants to ensure material quality in serial production Technical interaction with suppliers in materials engineering topics Presentation of test results to internal stakeholders and external partners (development teams, suppliers, customers) Maintenance and continuous improvement of material standards Research and study of new developments in material areas

Your Experience and Qualification

B.E. Metallurgy, or M.Sc. or PhD in Materials Engineering Strong expertise in mechanical, physical, and (electro-) chemical properties of aluminum alloys, stainless steels, and metallic materials in general Solid knowledge of corrosion behavior, corrosion protection systems, joining technologies, testing methods, forming processes, and metal physics Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in materials engineering Proficient knowledge of standard chemical and metallurgical analytics Initial experience in managing technical work packages and development projects Confident handling of internal and external standards as well as customer specifications Excellent command of English (spoken and written) Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical results

Minimum Requirements

Strong presentation and communication skills. Analytical and structured problem-solving approach. Able to work with different stakeholders having wide range of experiences. Knowledge of doing root cause analysis and detail out interpretations. Excellent organizational and time management skills: prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Self-driven to act independently on specific topics and achieve results Visit to travel to different plants, test labs and suppliers. Support small to big engineering assignments and handling diversified projects.
