Job Overview
The ICD/ICM designer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Majesco Insurance products that uses ICD/ICM toolkit framework as the development framework. ICD/ICM is a Majesco's proprietary framework. Majesco has built this framework in house, using Java and many open source software. The ICD/ICM is a low code development platform which provides environment for developers to create application software through graphical user interfaces and configuration instead of traditional computer programming.
Duties and Responsibilities
xc2xb7 Leading and guiding a small team of developers
xc2xb7 Designing of functional modules
xc2xb7 Developing YAWL flows, defining and updating Object Models and Mappings
xc2xb7 Writing and defining Rules in Rules Engine
xc2xb7 UTP and UT
xc2xb7 Deployment and Demo support
xc2xb7 QC support
xc2xb7 Module ownership
xc2xb7 Functional expertise on modules
xc2xb7 Database scripting and data verifications
xc2xb7 Defect tracking
xc2xb7 Strong Debugging
xc2xb7 Problem Solving
Skills / Attributes Required:
Essential:
o Application programming with inclination towards domain
o Development experience with object oriented programming JAVA technology stack preferred though not mandatory
o Experience in design both high level as well as low level
o Exposure to any database with clear understanding of RDBMS concepts
Desirable:
o Experience in Object Modelling and Designing using concept of Object Oriented Programming
o Experience or Knowledge in setting up of business rules
o Experience or Knowledge of Work flow concepts
Functional Skills:
o General Insurance background (preferred) else Life Insurance background.
Other skills:
o Managing a team of 4-5 resources
