How You Might Spend Your Days

As a Lead engineer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll become part of our HVAC & Building utility team, where you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

• 85% lead discipline in all project sizes and phases
• Plan and take technical and financial responsibility for own discipline
• Ensure interfaces to and coordination with other disciplines
• Ensure changes to scope of work are brought to the attention of project management
• Ensure disciplinary consistency, quality, and compliance
• Coordinate and support Engineers in own discipline
• 5-10% development of competence and employees
• Provide on-the\xe2\x80\x93job education of Engineers to advance their career
• Follow technology trends within technical discipline
• Review work of Engineers in own discipline
• Share knowledge across projects for technical and project execution alignment within own discipline
• Cost calculations, input for proposals and review of costs for proposals
• Support the development of standards and guidelines
• Promote NNE and look for sales opportunities with customers

• BE / BTech in Mechanical engineering
• Fluent in English, spoken and written

Professional experience

• More than 12 years of experience and master within discipline. Knowledge of most other disciplines and interfaces
• Extensive pharma engineering experience, with focus on own discipline.
• Project experience from Basic Design, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning/Qualification and Handover
• Some leadership experience e.g., as package lead through several projects

Personal profile

• 
  
  Technical leadership setting direction/standards within and in alignment with technical discipline
• Passionate about technical discipline
• Diligence to solve problems and finish work in a structured manner. Provide advice to customers proactively

Technical skills

• AHU & Pressure zoning for Pharma clean room facilities (GMP)
• Cooling and heating calculations
• Well versed with technical specification of HVAC components
• Knowledge of various types of HVAC systems and control philosophy
• Able to provide sustainable HVAC solutions to various type of facilities in a pharma world
• Knowledge of following building utility services

• Cooling and heating water for AHUs, FCUs, radiators etc.
• Domestic water, hot and cold
• Rainwater
• Sanitary drain
• Process drains
• Sprinklers

Leadership and coaching skills

• Planning and progress evaluation skills at overall discipline level
• Financial and business understanding
• Team player
• Thrive in a dynamic and hectic project environment
